Root Canal Treatment… The unknown truth…

A Root canal Treatment is the treatment of a badly carieous/ cavitated tooth ; During root canal or endodontic treatment, the inflamed or infected pulp ( PULP = which has the nerve and blood supply of the tooth) is removed and the inside of the tooth is carefully cleaned and disinfected.
The clean and dis-infected roots of the tooth is then filled and sealed with a rubber-like material called gutta-percha (GP) and the shape of tooth is built again by a filling material. Afterwards; (within a weeks observation) the tooth is restored with a crown. Crown / Cap is a must for any root canal treated tooth in order to have longevity ,i.e, life and functionality.
